I don't care what they say about Mylie...she is doing her thang!  I'm not a HUGE fan of her music but I do LOVE this song.  It makes you want to get up and dance.  Her country twang voice over the pop beat is cool!  Get it get it Mylie!

Angel Grant- Little Red Boat

I love this artist and this song.  Too bad she was a short lived "one hit wonder".  I could listen to this song on a warm summers day, sun beaming down on me, cold class of sweet tea in hand.

Aha- Take On Me

I LOVE AHA!!!!  The 80's rocked!  It was full of good music, real artists, and plain fun!  This is one of my classic fav's from that decade.  One night on iTunes I listened to this song over a hundred times.  I think my friend Tyrone remembers that.  Thank God for headphones!

I love this song by Kansas.  The harmonies are beautiful.  I could listen to the opening of this song all day and never get tired of it.  I love writing music and poetry.  I look for substance in songs.  This song is well written.

Crystal Kay- KoiNiOchitara (Falling In Love)

This is my girl!  I LOVE Crystal Kay.  She is a J-Pop singer from...of course Japan.  I love international music and she is one of my favorites.  The song below is beautifally written.  It talks about falling in love with someone.  Embrassing their hopes and dreams.  Loving then unconditonally.  Please look up the english lyrics.  To date this her top selling song.  I must admit still my fav from her as well.  She is huge in Japan.  She speaks both English and Japanese.  Although she is part Korean.  Listen to her other music.  You go gril!

Regina Spektor- Fidelity

Regina Spektor has been on my fav list for a few years now.  She is classically trained but broke out of that mondane role.  She uses her voice to do the weirdest things while singing.  I love it! She's unique and this song is unique as well.  Check out some of her vidoes!

Donna Summer is timeless!  She had a new album out this year called, "Colors".  It is really good!  Has some nice dance tracks on there.  This is one of my favorites off that album.  The song is about standing your ground no matter what life does to you.

Alicia Keys- Superwoman

Alicia Keys is my girl!  What a beautiful transformation she has made since her debut.  The song "Superwoman" means so much to me.  I find myself having to save the world sometimes.  Never thinking about myself.  That's what a Superwoman does.  So to all my Superwomen...you are beautiful!!
